WHAT AM I LOOKING AT?

The pip ring: The small circles ringing the board track captures. Your pips (teal) sit along your side; the bot's (white) sit along its side. Each capture lights the next pip clockwise.
SKIRMISH vs CAMPAIGN: SKIRMISH is one round — capture all 4 of your opponent's pieces to win. CAMPAIGN tracks captures across multiple rounds; the first player whose pip count reaches 12 wins the campaign immediately — even mid-round.
CLASSIC / CHAOS / HAVOC: These control how pieces are placed at the start of each round — CLASSIC is the standard layout, CHAOS and HAVOC scramble starting positions for a wilder game. Pick this from the PLACE PIECES screen.

DEJARIK — RULES

Objective: Capture all 4 of your opponent's pieces.
Setup: Each player starts with 4 pieces on their half. Brute always starts on the inner ring.
Turn: Select one of your pieces, then click a highlighted tile to move or attack.
Mandatory Capture: If any of your pieces can attack, you MUST attack. After a capture, if the same piece can attack again, it must continue.
Capture: Land on an enemy piece to capture it.
Center: The center tile is always blocked.
Brute can wrap (move only) from outer ring across to the opposite side.

DEJARIK — SETTINGS

Bot difficulty EASY trades cautiously and sometimes misplays. HARD presses the attack and trades freely.

No pass-through Predator and Scout cannot move through cells occupied by other pieces.

Opening positions CLASSIC: standard 2×2 zones each side. CHAOS: each side's pieces scattered randomly on their own half. HAVOC: all 8 pieces placed completely at random anywhere on the board.

Game length SKIRMISH: single round, capture 4 wins. CAMPAIGN: first player whose pip count reaches 12 wins immediately, even mid-round.

Aurebesh All Replaces all text with the Aurebesh alphabet from the Star Wars universe. Lowercase Latin maps to Aurebesh glyphs.

Three rings Adds a third outer ring to the board. Pieces scale down to fit. CLASSIC layout still starts on the inner two rings — the outer ring opens as contested space. Takes effect at the next NEW GAME.
